RBN's Community Directory Services

RBN Web Services pioneered member based websites as a user of the Bridgelin web platform in 2006, when we operated the websites of various member based organizations. The Bridgelin platform was developed here in Canada, and from its inception, was far ahead of its time. Everything an organization could need as build under one platform roof.

Our vision then expanded into what we call 'community websites”.  We saw a need for better community-building communication, built on the foundation of local business and thriving communities. The Bridgelin platform was ideal for this so we started by stretching the software capability and built one of our first community websites we call Community WebLine.

Dutch-Canadians Remember as One

RBN was involved in organizing the official visit to Goderich of H.R.H. Princess Margriet of the Netherlands in May of 2017.  The first requirement to make this all possible was a request from the Dutch Government that a good website be constructed to promote the visit.  RBN designed and hosted a media rich website to attract interest in our proposal from the Hague, with content that would leave leave a legacy to honour our Huron County fallen in the struggle to liberate the Netherlands, 1944-45.

A Website to Honour Our Fallen: Huron Remembers

This website project brings leading edge technology to honour and remember the Huron County fallen in both world wars and the recent conflict in Afghanistan.

The website is a community project to make known the biographical information for each of the 716 Huron County fallen etched on the stones at local cenotaphs. Website visitors are able to learn about the person behind the name, view where they served, fell and are interred. The site allows families to share pictures, letters from the front, and other memorabilia to help keep alive their memory.

Full Community Capability with Community WebLine

Here is a community website that can handle it all.  Community WebLine has a powerful directory that is fully customizable for every directory listing, which are all search engine optimized - visible to your targeted audience.  Content types include pre-formatted articles, events, categories, showcases, products and services. A fully integrated newsletter capability is included in the design.

A Fundraising Event Website: Rotary Club Festival

The Richmond Hill Rotary Club has upgraded its Craft Beer Festival website to better profile the festival vendors and the overall feel of this fundraising event website.

The site offers vendors more than a space for their logo.  The site design encourages visitors to click through to the vendor area, to learn more about each vendor, without leaving the site.  This is a value added feature appreciated by participating vendors.

Exeter Bridal Showcase - event website

This event site provides some fun features, including a dynamic event countdown on the home page. The site includes pages for show vendors, which are displayed attractively displayed on one page, and can be linked to a more comprehensive vendor business listing.

A Charitable Event Website: Ride 4 Kids

Ride 4 Kids is a local charity event fundraising site.  In addition to providing event details, the site rewards sponsoring businesses with a click through business listing that provides fulsome information and a back-link to the sponsor website.

This value added approach makes sponsorship much more attractive for sponsors to participate.
